Special Mountain Setting With Acres of Lawn!  That's right. There are literally acres of lawn and gardens at King Henry for you to enjoy.  This sets us apart from any other student housing, either on or off campus.  King Henry is a welcome relief from the cramped wall-to-wall buildings and parking lots now common throughout Provo.  Here you can stretch your legs, meet friends for games of all kinds, have a picnic or just curl up under a shady tree to study or take a nap.  And the fun doesn't stop in winter, especially if you're into snow sculpture, snow angels, a steaming spa in a blizzard or just enjoying the quiet of a snowy evening walk with your friends among King Henry's beautiful surroundings.

Large Heated Swimming Pool and Sun Deck:  King Henry's beautiful pool was designed with lots of space and fun in mind.  The pool has over 1,400 square feet of sparkling surface area and 50,000 gallons of refreshing, heated water.   We pride ourselves on being among the first, if not the first to open our pool in spring and the last to close up in fall (what good is a pool if it's only open for the summer folks?).  Hop in for an early morning "wake-up" dip, join the mid-day crowd for a drenching game of water basketball, or join your friends for an evening swim and to talk over the events of the day.  Our pool and sun deck are also the site of many of King Henry's organized activities, including dances and the famous December "Polar Bear Dip and Hot Breakfast."

Beautiful Clubhouse!  The focal point of social activities at King Henry is our beautiful, newly remodeled clubhouse.  What a warm, inviting place to unwind and just enjoy:

• Great Room:  Start with our spacious Great Room complete with romantic fireplace, vaulted ceiling, piano, real live plants, and kitchen for warming and serving goodies.  The Great Room looks out onto the pool patio and is a favorite place for ward and group parties and get-togethers.  Many of King Henry's wards hold Sunday evening prayer meetings here.  King Henry holds dances here as well as the popular "Battle of the Bands."  During BYU "reading weeks" before finals, we provide refreshments here for residents to take a break and relieve some of the pressure.

• Year 'Round Spa:  Nestled between the pool and the Clubhouse is our newly redone open-air year 'round spa with waterfall.  Jump in, lean your head back, look up at the stars and let your cares (and muscle aches) bubble away.  Summer or winter it doesn't matter, this spot will be a highlight of your stay at King Henry.

• Game Room:  For some hot competition or just a friendly game, step on upstairs to the Game Room.  Here you'll find a full size pool table, ping pong table, air hockey and lots of room to sit around and watch the fun.  For a break from the action, fresh air, or just to enjoy the view (and maybe even a full moon), step out onto one of two decks overlooking the pool and quad.

• Exercise Equipment:  We feature an array of first class exercise equipment.  Included are a treadmill, weight machine, elliptical trainer, and a recumbent bicycle.  Use of this equipment is of course free to all King Henry residents.

• Study Rooms:  When it's time to hit the books, the Clubhouse offers some great places, whether solo or with a study group.  Both upstairs and down, we've got  great study rooms and areas with large tables, comfortable chairs, good lighting and high-speed "broadband" computer internet access ports and wireless.  No need to waste time waiting to put your laundry in the dryer or for your turn in the computer lab, a study room is just steps away.  (And of course, each of our well appointed apartments features study desks and high-speed "broadband" internet access ports and wireless).

• Computer Lab:  Upstairs you'll find our newly equipped and air-conditioned computer lab designed to help residents who don't have computers avoid the long lines on campus.  We feature LCD monitors, very fast "broadband" connections for email (Route Y) access and internet research, as well as word processing software.  The lab is reserved for use by King Henry residents and is, of course, without charge.  For more details, Click Here.

• Bishops' Interview Rooms:  Many of King Henry ward bishops reserve rooms in the Clubhouse in which to conduct interviews or meetings, saving you the hassle of evening trips to campus.

• Laundry Center:  Amazing But True -- King Henry has found a way to make doing laundry a social event!  You certainly won't find any dark, dingy laundry rooms here.  We've built a spacious, brightly lighted laundry room with dozens of up-to-date "front loading" Maytag machines right in our Clubhouse.  When you throw in a load of clothes, you'll find study rooms and all the other Clubhouse features just steps away.  Laundry a fun social event?  It is at King Henry. [Note: Some King Henry apartments include free laundry equipment right in the apartment.]  As a bonus, our laundry machines use "Value Cards" rather than coins, eliminating the hassle of finding change to do a load of wash.

• Management Office On-Site:  Our business office is conveniently located on the main floor of the Clubhouse.  Office hours are generally weekdays from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to12:00 noon.  For added convenience, the office is open for extended hours on Wednesdays (8:30am to 6:30 pm).  During peak rent up times (usually March, April, and August) and during check-ins and checkouts office hours are extended.  When the office is closed, our Resident Assistants (RAs) are always available:   The RAs live in apartments 72 and 74 and alternate 'on-call' status.  For after-hours assistance, call the RAs on their cell phone at (801) 361-4604; King Henry's policy is that you will be able to speak with a responsible on-site staff member 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, either in person or by telephone (within three rings).

Sand Volleyball and Basketball Courts at King Henry offer excitement both day and night.  They're lighted of course, and are magnets for everything from friendly co-ed instruction to mighty inter-apartment competition.  You'll also find organized volleyball tournaments throughout the season.  These courts are reserved for King Henry residents and their invited guests.

Barbeque and Picnic Areas are located just east of  the Clubhouse, Sand Volleyball Court and Pool.  This is just the spot to sit in the shade, enjoy a tasty meal and watch all the action at the same time.  Tables, benches, flowers, and gas BBQs are furnished.  Assuming you have great skills at the BBQ grill, as the aroma of your handiwork spreads you'll be surrounded by friends, old and new, demanding to taste your latest creations.

Need A Little Extra Storage Space?  Apartments 1-92 include free storage lockers for extra items like suit cases, boxes, etc. that you just don't need around the apartment.  Apartments 101-312 have extra storage space built in for all those extra items.
