The Newly Remodeled Year Round Jacuzzi! Nestled between the pool and the Clubhouse is our newly redone open-air year 'round spa with waterfall. Jump in, lean your head back, look up at the stars and let your cares (and muscle aches) bubble away. Summer or winter it doesn't matter, this spot will be a highlight of your stay at King Henry. Jacuzzi hours are 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday.Children under the age of 12 are not permitted. Please be aware that the areas around the Jacuzzi may become slippery, especially in winter months - please use caution! If you notice any ice, do not use the Jacuzzi or surrounding area. Please notify us, of any potentially hazardous conditions.

King Henry's Pool King Henry's large heated swimming pool and sun deck were designed with lots of space and fun in mind. We pride ourselves on being among the first, if not the first to open our pool in spring and the last to close up in fall (what good is a pool if it's only open for the summer folks?). Hop in for an early morning "wake-up" dip, join the mid-day crowd for a drenching game of water basketball, or join your friends for an evening swim and to talk over the events of the day. Our pool and sun deck are also the site of many of King Henry's organized activities, including dances and the famous December "Polar Bear Dip and Hot Breakfast." *NO LIFE GUARD IS PROVIDED. Use caution and do not swim alone. Rremember that BYU Dress and Grooming Standards for bathing suits apply to all residents and their guests.

Sand Vollyball and Basketball Court Sand Volleyball and Basketball Courts at King Henry offer excitement both day and night. They're lighted of course, and are magnets for everything from friendly co-ed instruction to mighty inter-apartment competition. You'll also find organized volleyball tournaments throughout the season. These courts are reserved for King Henry residents and their invited guests.

The BBQ and Picnic Areas Barbeque and Picnic Areas are located just east of the Clubhouse, Sand Volleyball Court and Pool. This is just the spot to sit in the shade, enjoy a tasty meal and watch all the action at the same time. Tables, benches, flowers, and gas BBQs are furnished. Assuming you have great skills at the BBQ grill, as the aroma of your handiwork spreads you'll be surrounded by friends, old and new, demanding to taste your latest creations. DO NOT PUT STICKS, GRASS, BRIQUETTES, ETC. INSIDE THE BBQS. Please clean up after use.

Mail And Extra Storage Need A Little Extra Storage Space? Apartments 1-92 include free storage lockers for extra items like suit cases, boxes, etc. that you just don't need around the apartment. Apartments 101-312 have extra storage space built-in for all those extra items. Mailboxes for apartments north of 450 North are located east of the Clubhouse. Mailboxes for apartments south of 450 North are in the southeast corner of the complex. There is one mail key provided for each apartment. Iif the key is lost, a replacement fee will be charged. Parcel lockers are located next to the mailboxes. The mailman will leave a slip or a parcel locker key in your box to inform you when a package has been delivered. Packages that will not fit in the parcel lockers are usually delivered to the office. Those packages may be picked up during regular office hours.

The Clubhouse Great Room Start with our spacious Great Room complete with romantic fireplace, vaulted ceiling, piano, real live plants, and kitchen for warming and serving goodies. The Great Room looks out onto the pool patio and is a favorite place for ward and group parties and get-togethers. Many of King Henry's wards hold Sunday evening prayer meetings here. King Henry holds dances here as well as the popular "Battle of the Bands." During BYU "reading weeks" before finals, we provide refreshments here for residents to take a break and relieve some of the pressure.

Study Areas When it's time to hit the books, the clubhouse offers some great places, whether solo or with a study group. Both upstairs and down, we've got great study rooms and areas with large tables, comfortable chairs, good lighting and high-speed wireless and wired internet access ports. No need to waste time waiting to put your laundry in the dryer or for your turn in the computer lab, a study room is just steps away.

Workout / Exercise Equipment We feature an array of first class exercise equipment. Included are a treadmill, weight machine, elliptical trainer, and a recumbent bicycle. Use of this equipment is of course free to all King Henry residents. *Your apartment key gains entry into this room. As a courtesy to those who follow, please wipe off the equipment after you are finished. The use of all exercise equipment is at your own risk.

King Henry Office Office hours: Mon. - Fri. 10:30 am - 5:30 pm. Wed. 8:30 am - 6:30 pm Sat. 10 am to 12 noon. We take pride in offering you service and value beyond your expectations.You will be able to speak with a responsible on-site staff member 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, either in person or by telephone. Our business office is conveniently located in the Clubhouse. You can as pay rent, obtain parking stickers, etc. during office hours. When the office is closed, our Resident Assistants (RAs) are always available: The RAs live in apartments 72 and 74 and alternate 'on-call' status. They can help you with parking enforcement information, maintenance emergencies, lock-outs and other problems. Feel free to contact the them, but please limit your late-night contacts to emergencies.

Computer Lab Upstairs you'll find our newly equipped and air-conditioned computer lab designed to help residents who don't have computers avoid the long lines on campus. We feature New computers and LCD monitors! with high speed (up to 1 meg) access. FREE to all current Residents for checking email, surfing the internet, word processing, creating spreadsheets, and doing homework. Lab hours are from 8:00 am to 11:45 pm every day. BYU Honor Code applies to computer use. The apartment key will access the computer lab. Laptop data ports are also located throughout the clubhouse.

Inside the Clubhouse at King Henry! Our Clubhouse is a great place to study, relax, play the piano, join your friends for a game of pool, have supper in front of the fireplace, or work out in the exercise room. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Sundays. Use your apartment key to access locked areas of the Clubhouse, including the computer lab, exercise room, game room, pool area, and soda machines. To check out game equipment or vacuums, just see our friendly office staff or the R.A.s after office hours. Click on a room on the mini-map to your right or choose from the list.

Game Equipment For some good competition or just a friendly game, step on upstairs to the Game Room. Here you'll find a full size pool table, ping pong table, air hockey and lots of room to sit around and watch the fun. For a break from the action, fresh air, or just to enjoy the view (and maybe even a full moon), step out onto one of two decks overlooking the pool and quad. Game room equipment is available for your use. Included are pool cues and balls, table tennis paddles and balls, air hockey equipment, etc... These items can be checked out from the RAs’ during the evening and from the office during the day. Be sure to bring your picture ID in order to check out the equipment.

Laundry Center Doing laundry at King Henry is a social event! We've built a spacious and bright “laundry card” operated laundry room with dozens of "front loading" Maytag machines right in our Clubhouse. When you throw in a load of clothes, you'll find study rooms and all the other Clubhouse features just steps away. Laundry room hours go to 11:45 pm Monday through Saturday and until 10:00 pm on Sunday. * Some King Henry apartments include free laundry equipment right in the apartment.
